2015 Underground Music Award Winner and 2016 Hollywood Music and Media Awards Nominee, Jonezen, drops new summer smash “Day Job”.



Detroit-bred rapper/songwriter/guitarist/producer, Jonezen just released his new summer smash “Day Job” ft. Donny Beck. The single comes shortly after Jonezen released his second LP Beautiful Disaster, which as been called “one of the most creative indie projects of 2016” by Underground Hip Hop Blog and a “Timeless Classic” by Swurv Radio.

After a successful run in the underground hip hop world, Jonezen, who had toured and recorded with acts such as Swollen Members and Mixmaster Mike of The Beastie Boys, found himself almost dead from an alcohol addiction and landed in rehab. Jonezen brought his recording studio and laid down the tracks for his first solo LP, appropriately titled Live From Rehab. He has since gone to win the Los Angeles Music Awards for Hip Hop artist and Solo Performer of the year in both 2013 and 2014, the Underground Music Awards in 2015 for # 1 Contender and is now nominated at this-years Hollywood Music and Media Awards.

The rapper has been featured in The Source, All Hip Hop, Hip Hop Since 1987, Hip Hop Weekly, Hype Magazine, featured on the cover of Ovaground Mogul Magazine, had several singles in heavy FM radio rotation, Sirius XM, Music Choice, has had the #2 video on MTV.com and toured with Bone Thugs N Harmony as part of the Monster Energy Get Loud Tour.

“Day Job” is the first single off Jonezen’s upcoming LP Grown Ass Dreamer, which is slated to be released in 2017.
